Course Requirements

All assignments must be completed on time and as directed for you to pass the course. You are not allowed to "skip" any of the assignments, including the midterm or final. Doing so will result in your failing the course, regardless of your grades for the other assignments.  Grades will be posted on the class Blackboard site (but weights will not be input until the end of the semester). 

Weekly reflection papers:                                                150 points

Class presentation:                                                          100 points

Weekly Quizzes:                                                             100 points

Research Paper One (10-12 pages):                                 200 points

Research Paper Two (10-12 pages):                                 200 points

Chapter of your autobiography (7-8 pages):                      100 points

Attendance and Participation:                                           150 points

Extra Credit Opportunity (OPTIONAL)                                  50 points

ALL PAPERS AND ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS ON THE DAY ASSIGNED. LATE PAPERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
